About Puglia Everyday

Puglia Everyday is an online magazine about visiting, living in and moving to Puglia, the heel of Italy. It is an independent, fact-checked magazine with an international perspective and roots in Southern Italy. Our editors know the region from the inside and from the outside, so we explain it the way locals know it and the way newcomers first meet it: one market morning and one Questura queue at a time.

It is for anyone dreaming of Italy, or already living the dream: a first trip, a long stay, a full move or a life already set up here. It is also for travelers passing through and locals who want a clear explanation of how things work. Puglia is our focus because it is the region we cover most closely. Many are already doing their own research, often with ChatGPT open in another tab. We want to be the source you check that research against: specific, current and honest about what we know.

What we cover

What you can expect

Every guide is fact-checked before it goes up. For rules, fees and deadlines we go to official sources, such as the Agenzia delle Entrate for tax, INPS for benefits, the Regione Puglia and the local comune (town hall), and we link to them so you can check for yourself. Each guide we have reviewed shows a “Last updated” date, and we recheck older pieces as rules change.

When a figure is our own estimate, we say so and explain how we got there.

Working with us

We welcome partnerships and advertising from businesses that fit our readers, like stays, food, experiences, and services for people living in Puglia. Anything paid is always clearly labeled as sponsored, and our editorial picks stay our own. Have a proposal? Write to us at hello@pugliaeveryday.com.

Our guides explain how things work. They don’t replace a lawyer, a commercialista (accountant), a notary or a doctor who knows your situation.

The Insider, coming soon

We are preparing a weekly digest called the Insider: a short letter from Puglia with the news, rule changes and seasonal stories that matter if you are planning a trip or a move. More details soon.

Editorial standards and corrections

We write independently, keep opinion separate from fact, and correct errors openly. When we fix a mistake that changes the advice in a guide, we update the article and its “Last updated” date.

For rules, fees and deadlines we cite primary official sources, such as the Gazzetta Ufficiale (Italy’s official journal of laws), and link to them. Numbers are dated: we say when we checked them, and when a figure has not been announced yet, we say so instead of guessing. We translate Italian terms the first time they appear and keep the Italian word so you can recognize it on forms. Our guides are general information, not legal, tax or medical advice.

If you spot something wrong or out of date, please tell us through our contact page or at hello@pugliaeveryday.com. Include the page address, what needs fixing and a source if you have one. We check every report against official sources.
