Puglia is better known for olive groves and whitewashed towns than for start-ups, yet it suits remote work well: sea, light, a gentle cost of living and a growing number of places to open a laptop. From Bari to the tip of the Salento, coworking spaces have appeared in city centers, a museum, a seventeenth-century palazzo and a small town famous for its music festival.
If you are coming on Italy’s digital nomad visa, or simply want a desk with other people around it, these are the spaces worth knowing, town by town. All were checked in October 2026, but opening hours and prices change, so confirm with each space before you go.
Bari
Impact Hub Bari
Part of the international Impact Hub network, the Bari hub combines coworking with meeting and event rooms and an incubation program. It offers separate plans for occasional visitors (nomad) and regular members (resident), and its event calendar makes it a natural first stop for meeting the city’s professional scene.
Bisceglie
DigithON
Not a coworking space but an event: DigithON calls itself Italy’s largest digital marathon. Held in Bisceglie since 2016, it brings around 100 selected start-ups on stage in front of investors, companies and institutions. The eleventh edition ran from 1 to 3 October 2026. For anyone in the start-up world, it is the easiest way to see the Italian digital ecosystem in one place.
Lecce
Sellalab Lecce
Sellalab, the innovation platform of the Banca Sella group, runs a hub on Viale Michele De Pietro in Lecce. It is a place to work and, above all, to network, with a community of professionals, digital specialists and start-ups, plus meeting rooms and event spaces. Sellalab also runs programs for companies and start-ups.
Artem
Artem has one of the most unusual settings in the region: the Museo Castromediano on Viale Gallipoli, Lecce’s archaeological museum and the oldest museum in Puglia. Its motto is “Dream, create, inspire”. It offers coworking desks, a relaxation area and online booking, and hosts workshops and courses.
Molo 12
Molo 12, on Via Corte dei Mesagnesi, offers fiber Wi-Fi, an open space, private offices, a meeting room and mail holding, with round-the-clock access for members. Regular events make it easy to meet other people working in the city.
Manifatture Knos
Manifatture Knos is less a coworking space than a large cultural and creative center in a former industrial building, built around active citizenship and shared knowledge. Over the years it has hosted theater rehearsals, a climbing wall, exhibitions, markets, festivals, a community bike workshop and a FabLab. It is a good place to meet Lecce’s creative scene, if not to answer email in silence.
Melpignano
M23 Digital Coworking
M23 was created by Weave Srl together with the town council of Melpignano, the small town best known for the Notte della Taranta festival. It has 30 workstations, and has been part of the region’s Galattica network of spaces for young people. Its pitch is simple: it is the coworking space closest to the Salento’s beaches.
Tricase
Boho21
Boho21, a coworking space and creative hub, occupies rooms in the seventeenth-century Palazzo Gallone on Piazza Pisanelli in Tricase. It sees itself as a cultural space as much as a workplace, welcoming artists and creatives as well as remote workers, and is open on weekdays during office hours.
Martina Franca
Spazio62
Spazio62 in Martina Franca offers private offices, dedicated desks, meeting rooms and event spaces, paid for only as long as you need them. It is the main address in the Valle d’Itria for remote and hybrid workers.
Taranto
Login Hub
Login Hub offers coworking desks, furnished offices and meeting and conference rooms on fiber broadband, bookable by the hour or for longer. It also provides virtual office and registered address (domiciliazione) services, which can be useful when you first set up as a freelancer in Italy.
Andria
Cocohub
Cocohub is a large space for entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals, with private offices, dedicated desks, meeting rooms and an event space. Extras include a photo studio, a roof garden and a bar.
Choosing a base
We tend to think of coworking here as a way into a town rather than just a desk. A week at Molo 12 or Sellalab will introduce you to more of Lecce than a month working from a rented apartment, and a morning in Melpignano or Tricase comes with a coffee in the piazza at the end of it. Book a short trial first, ask about the internet connection and summer hours, and remember that August is quiet everywhere.
